I know I am getting ahead of myself and we haven’t celebrated Halloween yet. But I am one of those people who likes to be ready and have a clear plan of things to come. (when I can control it)
Our Christmas tree is about 5 years old and it’s what I call a “fat” tree. What I mean by “fat” is that it’s full, plump, big, round, not tall and skinny (ya.. that’s what I mean, it’s not skinny). We determined last year that we liked the pre-lit trees, the one I want is about $250- $300. I know sounds like a lot but we normally keep our trees for at least 5 years and always give our old tree to a local fire station, hospital or families in need.
I found our perfect tree it’s a “white christmas tree“, wait before you say ewe (like the hub’s did) it’s not really white. It’s a pre-lit flocked tree, I am not an expert on how Christmas trees are made. But I am thinking that the tree may have been white, but because of the green flocking it looks green? Who knows… White or Green it’s the tree I have my eyes on. Just look at it … isn’t it a beauty? If I can get the hub’s past the fact it’s a “white Christmas tree” then I might be decorating a tree like this for Christmas.
hmm.. the only thing I think I’d change about the tree is it needs to be “fatter”. ( : Do you like white Christmas trees or the traditional green trees?

This year for a change I am planning to buy white Christmas tree with
lots of christmas ball and stars.
Mollie, I think a white tree with turquoise and pink would be pretty.
I’ve always grown up with green Christmas trees, but I’ve had a couple of actual white ones. I think the green trees look great with clear lights and the white ones look so retro with multi-color. But if I were to buy a faux (I’m allergic to real trees), I’d probably get the flocked one like you got. It’s so pretty!
I like any kind of Christmas tree. I am truly a Christmas junkie… just saying.
