I’ve never made waffles until a couple of weeks ago when I tried a mix from Stonewall Kitchen. Do you remember the first time you made waffles? Did you make a mess? HA!! I over filled the griddle and I had mix oozing out the sides, I still laugh at the first one I made. Anyways we recently had the opportunity to try Stonewall Kitchen Maple Pancake & Waffle Mix. After finally figuring out how much batter to use, and after we stopped laughing at my first attempt we actually enjoyed some yummy waffles.
I love how the batter mix looked and smelled, you can see the maple syrup throughout the mix. The waffles tasted good even without the syrup. The next time I make them it was be a little easier as I’ll actually know what I am doing. Either way with this being my first time making waffles, they weren’t to bad. (well taste wise at least, but presentation well… let’s just say I have to work on that a bit)
