Foundation & Lipstick by Mía Mariú {review|giveaway}

I said this before and I’ll say it again, a girl can never have too many beauty products, shoes and handbags. Oh! and of course jewelry! I am going to share with you my thoughts on two beauty products by Mía Mariú, their Perfecting Finish Mineral Foundation &  Hydrating Stick Gloss.

I am always on the scout for the perfect foundation, I need one that works well with my combination skin as well as skin tone. I have freckles so it’s hard to find a foundation that matches. Over the years I’ve passed along many a bottles, tubes, and jars of foundation to friends and family, because after getting it home they didn’t match. When I was asked to do the review on the foundation I was hesitant  but  agreed to it anyways.

I received Mía Mariú’s perfecting finish mineral foundation in vanilla, and the hydrating stick gloss in beso. (Beso in spanish means kiss) Some foundations I’ve used in the past left me feeling like I had a pound of makeup on my face, even worse it looked like it was caked-on. I love how this foundation goes on smoothly, evenly, and it leaves my face looking fresh and clean. I was surprised at how little I had to apply to get the courage I like. It’s an oil free foundation made with natural minerals, green tea, and vitamins A & E to help hydrate your skin. It’s really worked well under the Florida humidity.

The hydrating stick gloss really helped my dry lips, and the color lasted for most of the night. I only had to retouch it up after my glass of wine at dinner. The beso color was a great compliment to my skin tone, I don’t like wearing colors that stand out and prefer colors that blend and compliment.
