The Pink Daisy Project is not about donating to help conduct research, nor do they raise funds for awareness or early prevention. The Pink Daisy Project is all about providing comfort to young women who already have breast cancer.
Debbie the founder of The Pink Daisy Project a 6 year breast cancer survivor, started the project to help pay it forward. During her days of recovery she remembered everyone who supported her from co-workers donating vacation time, family members cooking, cleaning and so much more. She thought that there was a lot of people involved in supporting research, awareness and wanted to give back in another way and came up with The Pink Daisy Project which provides comfort and help like she was given to young women who already have breast cancer.
The Pink Daisy Project not only accepts donations but they sell merchandise to help with funds needed for their project. This year they’ve added a new product an all natural roll-on perfume called “Pink Daisy“, which was created especially for The Pink Daisy Project by Melange Perfume. It’s an all natural blend of coconut oil fractions, essential oils, and kukui oil which makes this perfume suitable during chemo. I had the wonderful opportunity to try the perfume and I think it smells lovely, it has a light citrus smell that isn’t overpowering . I love how it’s roll-on and the bottle is small enough to slip into any little clutch for those special nights on the town.
I think that Debbie’s project is unique, there are many supporters for research, cures, and awareness, but I haven’t heard of many that do what The Pink Daisy Project does. For more information on all that they do, and all that they’ve done please visit The Pink Daisy Project. They can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.
