Happy Birthday Beautiful Baby Girl!!
Today you turn a year old, it seems like yesterday I was getting the news you had arrived.
You started crawling at 4 months, it’s like you wanted to keep up with your big sister or you were afraid you’d miss something. I remember thinking slow down baby girl, there is plenty of time for all that. Let is hold and cuddle you a little longer. You are such an entertainer, always trying to make others laugh.
I’ll never forget how you and I had our own little thing, we’d do when you were here this summer. I’d make kissing noises and you started mocking me, each time you heard my voice or saw me you’d do that. I also taught you to raise your arms in the air and say grandma. Your mom and I swore that you said grandma a few times.
You love your mom’s cell phone (well actually anyone’s) you’ve managed to call me on many occasions (without anyone’s help!) One night you called me three times, and we chatted for a while (well I chatted you did a lot of squealing) You even said “Hello” to me that night.
One week you’re being goofy and crawling and a week later you’re walking and running. You’re growing up fast and like most grandmas probably want, I wished there was a button to slow you down to enjoy this stage with you longer. But I know it’s only going to get even sweeter as you grow and learn, it’s going to be a joy to watch you.
