I love candles and can’t get enough of them! I have them all over our house, from tiny tea lights to large 3 wicked center pieces. They sit on shelves, the mantle, end tables, and of course my desk. ( : I don’t really have a favorite scent as it’s ever-changing like me, one time I’ll want something sweet and yummy and the next light and fresh. Candles are probably everyone’s go to gift for me.
I have been on the hunt for a larger center piece or a set of candle holders, I needed something that would take up some space. We have a breakfast bar type area that no one ever uses, well for breakfast or eating that is. It’s a place where keys, papers, mail and other miscellaneous items get tossed as everyone walks into the house. I kept thinking if only I had some nice candles to take up some of the space, then they wouldn’t have room to drop their things and run.
So the search began and ended at 100Candles, nope I didn’t buy that many candles and put in this space, but I did find many great candles and candle holders on their site. I decided to reach out to them and see if they had any suggestions, I was very pleased with customer service and delighted when they decided to work with Scattered Musings. I received Three Fluted Glass Candle Holders (it’s a set) and 3 Pillar Cinnamon Stick Candles to go inside the holders.
When I opened the box the room filled with the aroma of cinnamon. They really took great care in making sure my products arrived undamaged. They were wrapped in paper, then bubble wrap on a bed of more packaging material. A great big kudos to them for that!!
The fluted glass candle holders are three different sizes, from 5.75 inches tall (smallest) to the largest at 7.75 tall (largest). The stands that hold the glass beakers, are made from steel which are squared and remind me of dock piers of varying lengths. These can hold a pillar candle of 3″ wide. I like the tiered look they have when you place them all together.
The cinnamon candles smell so good, like I said as soon as I opened the box the room was filled with the scent. These fit perfectly within the holders, and came in 3 different sizes. The candle is colored and fragranced throughout the entire candle, and will burn beautifully for up to 90 hours. I like that they are colored throughout, I’ve bought candles before that were beautiful in color, then after burning for a little while they turn white.
I will work on cleaning the bar off, (when I get rid of the lazies) and put my pretty new candles & holders in their real home. For now they sit on the mantle.
Ignore the large photo in front of the fire-place, I took it down to clean it and couldn’t get it back up without a ladder. And … the lazies also includes no ladder climbing.
