Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Unbelievable Stories for Guys

I remember watching Ripley’s Believe It or Not with my father when I was a girl. I don’t think they have a show any more or do they? My hub’s isn’t really a reader, but enjoys books that I call either bedside readers or reads for the potty. They aren’t like the normal chapter books, but have tips, jokes or mini stories that start and end within two pages.

We were given the opportunity to review a new book by Ripley’s Believe It or Not, called Unbelievable Stories for Guys. I love the look of this book, it’s small enough for a great bedside reader and great to leave in the guest bathroom. The cover is classic black with foil type letters, if you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you’ll probably know that I am turned onto books by their covers. So the cover had me from “hello” (so to speak) But the reading didn’t! This book is definitely written for the guys! It has many stories that only a guy could like. Btw the hub’s says its a great bedside reader, he keeps it on his night stand and grabs it every once in a while to read a page or two. Then I get to hear all about it

This book would make a great gift for guys that like Ripley’s Believe It or Not, and like quick one-two page short reads.
