Costume Birthday Party

Dress up time.. Grab your favorite costume!

I’ve always wanted to have a birthday party where everyone dressed according to the theme. My oldest son was an October baby and my last daughter was also an October baby. I keep wondering why we never did a themed birthday party. Since they were both October babies, I could have gotten away with having a costume party.

My random thoughts stem from am an article I read the other day. A fellow blogger wrote about how she had a ballerina themed party for her daughter’s birthday. She had all the little girls come dressed as ballerinas it was so cute. Again I never thought to have a costume theme for a birthday party. I guess I always related costumes with Halloween, since everyone always says Halloween costumes.

I’ve been thinking that when my daughter and grand babies come back home, it would be so cute to have a costume party for their birthday’s. Princess or a Cat in the Hat themed party would be perfect for my oldest grand-daughter. I took a peek at some of the costumes for kids online and found so many. Regardless of the theme I decide to do, there are plenty of costumes available.
