Lemon pepper is one of those flavorings/seasonings that is universal. You can use it on many different foods like chicken, fish, potatoes, and veggies. It’s refreshing and great tasting too! I thought I’d share one of our favorite lemon pepper recipes. Hope your family enjoys it as much as mine!

fresh garlic 1 tsp (more or less to your taste)
1/2 to 1 tsp of pepper (more or less to your taste)
1/2 tsp of salt (more or less to your taste)
3/4 cup lemon juice (more or less to your taste)
1/4 cup water
2 tsp of olive oil
baking dish with lid

Preheat oven to 400 degrees (or 350 if using a glass pan)

Add lemon juice, water, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil to your baking dish.
Whisk or mix them together with a spoon.
Add chicken pieces, turning over into the mixture to coat.
Cover and put into oven
Bake 45 mins to 1 hour uncovering the last 20 mins to brown the tops a little.

You can also make a lemon pepper marinade and marinade the chicken overnight. This will help the chicken soak up the flavors and give it a stronger lemony flavor. This lemon pepper chicken recipe is great with rice and black beans, or pasta and broccoli. Like this Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe? If so be sure to check out my other recipes.
