Lemon pepper is one of those flavorings/seasonings that is universal. You can use it on many different foods like chicken, fish, potatoes, and veggies. It’s refreshing and great tasting too! I thought I’d share one of our favorite lemon pepper recipes. Hope your family enjoys it as much as mine!
Lemon Pepper Chicken Recipe
chicken breast or boneless thighs
fresh garlic 1 tsp (more or less to your taste)
1/2 to 1 tsp of pepper (more or less to your taste)
1/2 tsp of salt (more or less to your taste)
3/4 cup lemon juice (more or less to your taste)
1/4 cup water
2 tsp of olive oil
baking dish with lid
Preheat oven to 400 degrees (or 350 if using a glass pan)
Add lemon juice, water, garlic, salt, pepper, and olive oil to your baking dish.
Whisk or mix them together with a spoon.
Add chicken pieces, turning over into the mixture to coat.
Cover and put into oven
Bake 45 mins to 1 hour uncovering the last 20 mins to brown the tops a little.
You can also make a lemon pepper marinade and marinade the chicken overnight. This will help the chicken soak up the flavors and give it a stronger lemony flavor.
