Zulily Inspired DIY project.
This past Christmas I wanted to get my grand baby some cute onesies from Zulily. But the ones I wanted were out of stock. Maybe them being out of stock was a good thing, because I soon found myself making my own Zulily inspired onesies.
Items Needed
Pack of oneies (long or short-sleeved)
Ribbon 2- 20 inch pieces (any width, color,
Scissors
Thread and Needle
Sewing Machine (opitional)
Step 1 ~ This is a really simple project, and takes about 10 mins to complete.
Step 2 ~ Lay onesie flat, using one piece of the ribbon wrap it around the onesie about 2 ” below the underarm area.
Step 3 ~ At the side stitch the lower piece to the onesie (either hand stitch or with a sewing machine) The other end will overlap the piece you just stitched in place, If it’s to long trim the ribbon before stitching.
Step 4 ~ The second piece of ribbon is used for the bow, after making the bow attache it to the onesie.
You’ve just created a Zulily inspired onesie.
